"From the age of eight, I have always found mentors for myself.  My first mentor was my Aunt Meg. She remains my mentor to this day," says Missy Wilkins. Missy's father died suddenly and she, her mother and brother moved from the Bronx to Dorset, Vermont. Aunt Meg to this day is a mentor to Missy.

                                                                      &nbs…

                                                                                             Aunt Meg today.

At each new school, I would find that special person to help guide and support me." says Missy Wilkins. These people, like all mentors, played a pivotal role in Missy's development. Each mentor was the right person for Missy at the right moment.

"Eddie" today. I saw him on a recent visit to Kentucky, where he lives now.  He completed college and and serves in the army. Such a fine young man, he still has that great twinkle in his eye. I am so proud of his accomplishments.
